The whole river gets channeled into tubes right before a weir. Mandatory take out on the river left underneath a sign. It is an easy stop on the drive up if you want to see it from the bank.
With low water (-0,01 @Cantoira) it’s a pretty easy stop.

Befahren am 6.6. bei ca. 14 kubik. es hat 2 bis 3 von der Seite hereinragende Bäume und auch 2 Eisenträger im Fluss, aber alles schon von weitem ersichtlich und einfach umfahrbar, sonst alles frei.

bei dem Wasserstand schon schnell aber an einigen Stellen immer noch sehr eng. Mehr Wasser wäre besser und vermutlich auch einfacher. Die Stelle bei der Steinbrücke am Besten anschauen.

After the tree mentioned in the other note, where the river splits into some channels: keep to the right, maneuver close to a bush and pick the rightmost channel which is clear. Do not go straight on where most of the water is flowing because it's one big strainer choked full of logs

Die Voraussetzungen und Auflagen zur Spülung der EKW Wasserfassung in Pradella wurden erreicht, womit die Engadiner Kraftwerke AG die Wasserfassung Pradella am 03.06.2025 ab 10:00 Uhr ausleiten wird, um die Spülung durchzuführen.
Die Dauer der Spülung inklusive Aus- und Einleiten beträgt max. 65 Stunden. Bei einem signifikanten Rückgang der Wassermenge wird die Einleitung vorzeitig vorgenommen.

Zu beachten: Während der Spülung führt der Inn unterhalb der Fassung mehr Wasser. Oberhalb der Fassung wird der Stauraum entleert.

Befahren am 31.5.25 von oberhalb Wehr Peiden bis kurz vor Wehr Ilanz. Bei Kiesbankschwall nach Galerie rechten Arm genommen. Alles baumfrei, gut fahrbar. Pegel leider unbekannt, da anscheinend kaputt. Gefühlt ca. MW oder knapp darunter. JD

Ich denke 60cm passt ganz gut. Wir sind den Teil am Wochenende gepaddelt und alle Kernstellen gingen flüssig, die Anfahrten waren jedoch hin und wieder etwas hakelig. Es ist soweit alles frei und befahrbar. Grüße Philipp

Low water. Very easy run.
Clear of trees and continues run all the way down.

Rather low but still okay to paddle.
Beginning is easy. It builds up in intensity slowly towards the end.
We had a few trees. 2 of them to portage. Rest could be paddled on the sides with some caution.
Half way we scouted the Undercut passage, but we had no difficulty...
Rest was fun.
The take out is positioned near a football field. Walk up this field to spot a dam. There was a lot of wood in there.
We advise to get out before the dam, and walk...
Not much eddy's available before the dam so stay left towards the end.

Run at 15cm, medium level. One tree in the first part that can be avoided on th eleft, otherwise good to go! Team Nirjhara

We ran short section from Toma till the ski lift at Ala, about 2.5km of intense grade 4 and a short grade 5 section. Medium-low level at 5cm at Cantoira but level rises quickly in the afternoon. Team Nirjhara

Take-out pin not correct, should be at roadbridge in Chialamberto. The section below has several weirs and lots of iron in the river bed + a questionnalble gorge section at Cantoira that we portaged. The section above Chialamberto was very worthwhile at a level of 5cm, mainly grade 4 with 2-3 harder bits. Team Nirjhara

Fahrt mit Packrafts bei 2.7 m3/s. Nur einmal aufgesetzt. Im unteren Abschnitt vermutlich nur möglich, da starke Wasserzufuhr durch Schils nach Flums.
Einstieg oberhalb der Bushaltestelle "Plons (Mels), Dorf". Dauer: 2h.
In Plons (bei 47.056103, 9.402873) war kleine Blockwurfstufe nicht fahrbar (verblockt).
