Ayasse (IT), Trambesere - La Chataigne
Bewertung NW-MW-HW
I think the water levels are a bit off. In my experience the gauge readings are not super reliable for this section. For example I paddled it once at 28cm and it was higher than another time I paddled it at 36cm. The ideal level is probably somewhere around 40cm. It probably still goes at much higher levels but I imagine it would become continuous grade V.
This section usually runs for most of April and May, and potentially June if there is a big snow pack. It can also run after heavy rains, although you need to get there within roughly 24 hours as levels rise and fall very quickly.

Fantastic river. This section is much easier than the two sections below and is manageable for a solid class 4 team.

I would say 20 cm, is low water for the section from Champex to Morgex. It could probably be run lower, but then would likely only be grade 3. Between 25-30 cm is probably the most technical level with more holes and defined features. Above that the holes aren't as bad and start to flush out a bit.

Glenner (CH), Peiden - Ilanz
