We ran it on the 3/4/16 with 8m3/s in Chezery Forens. The visual scale was showing 75cm.
This level was good to discover this section. It looked more like a class IV than a class III!

300m after "Pont du Rouffy" (Rouffy bridge), there is a small gorge. Run the entrance rapid of the gorge and stop on the left before the waterfall to scout (or carry) it. Then you have a 2nd (impressive) gorge which we carried easily on the left side. After this gorge there is a class IV rapid with a few trees but still ok to run.

We ran it on the 3/4/16 with 8m3/s in Chezery Forens. There were a few trees but it went fine. Many rocks, you have to "slalom" all the time. Very few eddies to stop (it is better to go with a small group of people). Be ready to stop regularly on this section in order to scout the rapids where you can find branches.

Very nice run that can be divided in two parts:

- Part 1: wild gorge with 2 difficult rapids (class IV, IV+ or X depending on the level). Those can be carried on the right side. Be careful with the banks on the second rapid, they can be very slippery!

- Part 2: class III rapids between Lezat and La Rixouse.

We did the full section on the 2/4/16 with a level of 4,2m3/s in Morez. It was a good level to discover the gorge. A bit low for the section between Lezat and La Rixouse.

Die Albtalstrasse ist wegen Steinschlag für längere Zeit gesperrt. Es ist noch nicht bekannt, wann das Fahrverbot aufgehoben wird. Dadurch wird die Bootsverschiebung auf der Strasse sehr mühsam.

The level was low but still ok

Nice class III at the beginning. The gorge at the end is a class III-IV

Level: 1m50 on the visual scale (50m after the bridge on the right river side), 45cm in St Yrieix la Perche

Low level but still ok to play. We just carried the small dam at the end.

Run on the 06/03/2016 with a level of 7,7m3/s in St Médard en Forez. Good level. Many artificial drops. Just be careful with the drawback waters!

Run on the 28/02/2016:

a nice class III-IV with 6,21m3/s in St Sauves d'Auvergne. It took us 3h30 to complete the run. We carried a 1m50 drop where there was a tree.

Run on the 27/02/2016: Good level

Very nice creeking area. You start with some class II in a wonderful lanscape. The end is made of 800m of class IV (V if the level is high).

20/02/2016: nice run with one 8m waterfall to be carried on the left side of the river (X with this level). The portage is quite difficult! Be prepared to hike a bit!

Level: 56cm in St Yrieix le Déjalat (Corrèze). 1,04m in Laguenne. We considered the level as middle-low but it was enough to enjoy the section.

20/02/2016: nice run with three class IV-IV+ areas. There was a tree at the end of the section.

Be careful to scout the take out because of the "Cascades de Gimel"!

We ran it on the 21/02/2016
Level: 55cm on the St Yrieix le Déjalat scale (Corrèze). 85cm on the visual scale which is under the bridge.

The level was rather high for the gorges, which is the hardest piece of whitewater (1km of class V to VI). This was a good level for the rest of the river. It took us 3h for the full run (with portage and scouting).

The beginning is a nice class IV run, then you have some class II and you arrive in the gorge which you can carry easily on the left side. The end is a very nice class III-IV piece.

Minimum of 5m3/s confirmed by a group of paddlers running it this week-end.

Pegelangaben überprüfen: Minimal auf 16 setzen.

40 gemaess dem Pegel Entreveaux sicher zu hoch fuer Min.

Viel Holz welches bei NW keine Gefahr darstellt bei MW und HW jedoch sehr gefährlich sein kann. An etwa 4 stellen auch quer über den Fluss.

Es ist sehr wohl möglich den Fluss bei wehniger als 20 m3/s zu befahren!

Ich bin jedoch einverstanden dass NW auf 5 m3/s angehoben werden sollte. Wir testeten die strecke gestern bei 4.6 m3/s und liefen oft auf Grund ich musste deswegen jedoch nie das kayak tragen.

Bei genügend Wasser ist die strecke innerhalb 4 Stunden gemacht wir benötigten jedoch 5:30 stunden

Bei 6.5 m3 hatte es noch genügend Wasser: NW-Vorschlag 5 m3

Regelmässige Strömung abwechslungsweise mit leichteren Schwällen, WW 2, auf fast der ganzen Strecke. Kurz vor dem Autotunnel nimmt das Gefälle etwas zu und die Schwierigkeiten steigen auf den letzten 400m auf WW3.
Es hat immer wieder Holz in Ufernähe, was bei uns aber absolut unkritisch war. Das könnte sich bei anderen Wasserständen natürlich verändern.
