Momentan relativ viel Holz in der "Mini-Schlucht" in Saint-Jean-d'Alps... gut aufpassen. Wir haben viel umtragen müssen...

Gauge is not correct. We had around 10m3, while it said 4m3.

Der Glenner ist aktuell tief im Bachbett eingegraben. Dadurch läuft es fast überall schön zusammen und ist bei 7m3 schon super zu fahren. Stellen sind dadurch allgemein noch runder/schöner geworden im vergleich zu den letzten Jahren. Geht sicher noch bei weniger aber schlage vor NW bei 7m3 festzulegen statt bei 8.

Es gibt einen Baum in der Siphon-Stelle, ca. 150m nach der langen Umtrage (V+). Der Siphon war beim Einstiegspegel (4.8 Striche) ziemlich offen...

Der Abschluss der langen Geraden nach dem Parkhausbin der oberen Schlucht hat sich verändert, haben getragen. Auch der Anfang vom Schlachthaus hat uns nicht verführt...

Ran it on the third of May with about 40cm. After the first (kind of) lake, the river picks up. After about 100 meters it goes into a gorge. The entry rapid is class lV+ or lV-V and you cannot portage it as far as I know and you cannot set safety. So a MUST RUN! The tree from entry #7235 is still there. We managed to get over it. The rest of the section is class ll maybe lll with one weir which is class lV.

Sceso con 3,4m³ secondo. Trovato livello minimo per una discesa senza toccare troppo.
Consiglio imbarco 500 MT prima di quanto riportato per via dei tronchi. Da lì in poi è pulito.
Attenzione allo sbarco dopo la confluenza con il verdon, sotto il ponte c'è artificiale con forte ritorno, a meno di acqua bassa. Da valutare sul posto e nel caso sbarcare prima.

Sind's heute bei knapp MW gefahren (neuer Pegel in Argentiere). Dieser zeugte 56 m3. Von der Durance Seite kam mehr... deutlich über MW so auf der Durance (Gorge de Prelles).

Die Niedrigwasser-Grenze sollte zugunsten der Fische und Material auf mindestens 5 m3/s angehoben werden. Es ist auch dann noch sehr steinig und wohl eher ab 6/7 kubik durchgehend fahrbar.

Un albero di traverso prima dell'ingresso delle gole, non pericolosissimo ma da gestire perché attraversa tutto il fiume. Meglio trasbordare. Probabilmente alla prossima piena verrà spostato.

Con livello di 60 cm si scende bene, qualche contro roccia non problematico, grado riportato corretto. Tutto libero e pulito, nessun problema

There in an electric line over one the rapids that needs to be cut with proper tools

We paddled the Bukovica on April 16, 2026, at a water level of 44 cm. The classification II–III (V) is definitely misleading — such notation suggests a Class II–III river with a single Class V rapid. Unfortunately, that is not the case. The Class V section is actually an entire stretch of at least 1 km (beautiful, but very difficult to portage, if possible at all).
We started at Podmalinsko Monastery. The Class V section begins after approximately 2.5 km of Class II–III river. In our case, upon reaching the Class V section, we had to retreat upstream — the group’s skill level and the serious consequences of capsizing did not allow us to continue. This stretch runs through a canyon with no possibility of evacuation. We did a short scout of the Class V section — there are quite a few recirculating holes at 44 cm, and siphons are forming.
If possible, we kindly ask for the description and classification to be verified. This section should be rated as Class V with occasional Class II and III sections.
