Super parcours. fait avec 18mcube à Sénéchas le 24/01/2026. Niveau moyen (moyen haut?). A ce niveau, le 4+ ressemble plus à un 4, mais les risques de coincement sont surement encore là; ca passe encore sous le pont de pierre.

Felssturz am Vorderrhein auf der Höhe von Schluein, via a vis der Castrischer Auen, auf der linken Flussseite bei der ersten Felswand vor der Rheinschlucht

Parcours extrêmement encombré : fils de clôture dans les premiers kilomètres, mais surtout arbres poussant dans la rivière tout du long. Les passages sont parfois complètement fermés par les arbres des berges.
Le parcours n'est faisable que lorsque les arbres ont perdu leurs feuilles, sinon aucune visibilité dans un grand nombre de passages.

Attention, section très engagée !
Un seuil vers le début de la gorge peut poser problème : must-run, pouvant rappeler, difficile à repérer et sécuriser, et le contre-courant à droite en amont du seuil siphonne.
Impératif de bien se renseigner avant de s'engager !

Der in der Webcam zu sehende Abfluss entspricht dem Volumen, welches für diese Strecke relevant ist.

Gerade in der warmen Jahreszeit wird der maßgebliche Pegel im Wesentlichen durch den Wimbach beeinflusst. Der Wimbach mündet jedoch erst nach dieser Strecke in die Ramsauer. Daher ist der Pegel nur bedingt aussagekräftig im Sommer.

It started with the upper hydro scheme and is getting massively under thread to another power station that takes almost every drop out of the river bed. In 2027 the hydro will be in action. So in 2026 is probably the last year paddling the Kelchsauer. Non-binding 60cm should be good to go.
Construction works are to be expected and could be dangerous in facing the tunneling of the almost entire river.
