I think the water levels are a bit off. In my experience the gauge readings are not super reliable for this section. For example I paddled it once at 28cm and it was higher than another time I paddled it at 36cm. The ideal level is probably somewhere around 40cm. It probably still goes at much higher levels but I imagine it would become continuous grade V.
This section usually runs for most of April and May, and potentially June if there is a big snow pack. It can also run after heavy rains, although you need to get there within roughly 24 hours as levels rise and fall very quickly.
