Maè got a very difficult put in and practicaly no parking available, it’s hard to spot the correct place https://www.openstreetmap.org/note/new?lat=46.26587&lon=12.26485#map=17/46.26597/12.26671&layers=N this is the little rock bridge were you can leave one car. before the bridge a little and faith path take you to the river but it’s very steep and slippery. water in Mae must be low, avoid any period of bad weather or any rainy day, avoid the period when snow is melting. best period summer till October than start to be very cold and frozen terrain does not help the take in walk.

put in at the bridge after the dam end take out at the end of the lake. Mainly is runnable after big rain when boite standard section is at a medium flow but it depends a lot by the releases of the dam of Vodo. there is not a clear reference whit any idrometers. the run is made out of 3 canyon and it can be quite hard whit high flow… a lot of tree and no escape or at least very hard in some places. you can see my video about Canyon boite whit medium/low flow.

you can paddle down till the lake there is only one portage of a very dangerous artificial drop but its easily spottable 2/3 way down the section. it runs after heavy run, the video was taken with a level of the cordevole ponte mas gauge at 300++
really rare to run but very nice. as always after big big rainfall!

Strecke ist frei von Holz. Alle Slides sind gut befahrbar. Pegel 140 cm.

- Station de référence : pont de Corbières - accès privé pour accéder au niveau en temps réel de cette station - contacter le club de kayak de Gap par mail pour avoir ce niveau.

- BE : 90 cm ME : 110 cm HE 130 cm. Navigable principalement au printemps au fin d'automne (fonte des neiges).

- Commentaire : Gravière avec cadre extérieure magnifique (limite parc des Ecrins) de classe 2 avec pas mal de passages 3 au milieu de la vallée de Champoléon. A 500 m après le départ se trouve le rapide des Borels (cl 3) qui est le plus long et le dur. Il commence juste après un pont se déroule sur 500 m de long. Le Drac blanc rejoint le Drac noir (IV - V) pour former le Drac a la fin de la navigation. Possibilité de poursuivre la navigation jusqu'à Pont du Fossé (Classe 2) mais attention car barrage à porter 500 m après fin du Drac blanc. Passage sympa au pont des Ricoux (44°40'47.3"N6°15'24.1"E).

We could remove some bad Trees from the Gimbach today. "Must run" is free again now. On the last Part bevore the "Gimbach-Kaskaden" is still a lot in the river but we Cleaned it, that its possible to pass...

There are a lot of trees hangung on the walls around. So there can be new trees after every day. Watch out !

Started today on the Rettenbach from gauge-bridge 1 km downstream.
Some trees are gone now, and possible to pass them. But lots of trees are around.
So, Situation will change often in next weeks.
Upper part has at least 2 or 3 portages at the moment. Acrually only try at low water and chainsaw

Achtung! Auf der Weißache (südl. Kufstein, entlang B173) zu Beginn der Schlucht ist ein Felssturz - unfahrbahr - linksufrig etwas mühsam umtragbar - im Rückstau zurückpaddeln auch möglich. Stand 12.03.2018
