Upper Poprad is in the National Park and kayaking is prohibited there. The terrain is also very inhospitable and inaccessible, and in the national park it is forbidden to move outside marked trails, which makes most scouting also illegal.
On top of that it is an extremely difficult WW5+ section of the river, which flows only during melting snow and heavy rains.

It's more like V/VI (XXX) ful of trees, full of trees-sieves, has anyone run it ? I did the last part of this section - it's III/IV 1 km and it's nice. There are some nice runnable parts above, but it's alwyas like it's 25m run with must-exit eddy.
