Even if the gauge seems to be perfectly placed at the put-in, it's still upstream of a couple of potentially major tributaries so care must be taken: especially in case of heavy rains the level in the river could be way higher than shown by the gauge

Info by Stefano Ongaro: Down here we had some huge flooding especially on cordevole, the gauge is gone and the water almost pass over ponte mas.... the river has changed a lot
